"Lamb to the Slaughter" - I'm the Detective.

If I was a detective investigating the murder of Patrick Maloney in “Lamb to the Slaughter” by Roald Dahl, I would have  thought of all of the possibilities. Therefore I would have labeled the wife as a prime suspect and analyzed all of the possibilities. I would also ask the wife if they had had any arguments lately. Then after that I would question all the people that have come into contact wih the detective in the past month. Then I would come to a logical conclusion. And that would be that wife killed him

“First Persuasive Paragraph.”

Students should be able to play sports if they have low grades. Grades should not have anything to to with a students ability to participate in extracuricular activities such as sports. The reason for that being is that their are alot of benefits associated with students who play sports. Some students are just not mentally able to  meet the academic requirements to be able to play sports. If a student participates in sports it can help teach them alot of valuable life lessons such as perseverance and the knowledge of how to live a  healthy life. The bottom line is that grades can get in the way of a great opportunity for a student to be a part of something greater than themselves.

“Catch the Moon” Grief Paragraph

I believe that the change Luis had expressed as a resullt of his grief he feels as a result of his mothers death is unbelivible. Thats because Luis is a juevinile delinquent who will most likely change his attitude periodically. Also the only reason that Luis did that for Naomi is because he was infatuated with her.

“SPA Theme Song.”

The song Highway to Hell by AC/DC represents San Pasqual Academy because of that bad choices that some of the people make. The choices that they make will ultimately screw up the rest of their lives
Living easy, living free
Season ticket on a one-way ride
Asking nothing, leave me be
Taking everything in my stride
Dont need reason, dont need rhyme
Aint nothing I'd rather do
Going down, party time
My friends are gonna be there too, yeah

Im on the highway to hell
on the highway to hell
highway to hell
im on the highway to hell

No stop signs, speed limit
Nobodys gonna slow me down
Like a wheel, gonna spin it
Nobodys gonna mess me round
Hey satan, payed my dues
Playing in a rocking band
Hey momma, look at me
Im on my way to the promised land
OWWW

Im on the highway to hell

“’The Bass, the River, and Shelia Mant’ Airhead Stereotype.”

The character known as Sheila Mant in ’The Bass, the River, and Shelia Mant’ can be characterized as a beautiful airhead. The reason for that stereotype is that she is unaware of what is really going on in different situations. An example for that is when the boy she was with let the biggest bass he had ever seen get away for Sheila and she ended up leaving the party in Eric Caswells Corvette. Another instance is when Sheila says to the main character that he is a funny kid after all that he did for her.

Internal and External Conflicts in the Bass the River and Sheila Mant

The internal conflict that occured in the story the Bass the River and Sheila Mant was whether to decide to catch the bass on his rell or whether to take Sheila to the concert. The external conflict was his relationship w his with Sheila and how his date with Sheila would turn out.

Does falling in love really change a person? The answer to that question is that it doesn't. Falling in love just makes an individual devoted to a certain person.

"The Highwayman' and 'Typhoid Fever' comparison

The characters in The Highwayman and Typhoid Fever are similar in alot of different ways. For instance the highwayman and the boy both like the girl in the storys. Another similar circumstance in the story is that the girl in The Highwayman and the girl in Typhoid Fever both suffer an agonizing death. It was important that Fraank heard the ending of  The Highwayman because it helps give him some closure and inner peace knowing what the end result of the story.

"Two Kinds" Mother & Daughter Conflict

The character That I support is Jing-mei. Her opinion is right because her mother was too hard on her and she expected Jing-mei to be something she wasn’t. Another example is that she tried to force her daughter to learn how to play the piano which Jing-mei wasn’t interested in playing at all.
