“’The Bass, the River, and Shelia Mant’ Airhead Stereotype.”

The character known as Sheila Mant in ’The Bass, the River, and Shelia Mant’ can be characterized as a beautiful airhead. The reason for that stereotype is that she is unaware of what is really going on in different situations. An example for that is when the boy she was with let the biggest bass he had ever seen get away for Sheila and she ended up leaving the party in Eric Caswells Corvette. Another instance is when Sheila says to the main character that he is a funny kid after all that he did for her.
